Last night, as most of you know, the football league held a meeting for new players/teams. Approximately 15 women were either in attendance or represented by a friend in attendance.

A number of women expressed an interest in attending a practice session with existing players from the league's women's teams. Thus, on Sunday, June 8th, among the four teams, we are hoping to get 10+ players out to hold an informal practice/scrimmage with new players. This would be an opportunity for them to throw the ball around, run some patterns and play a game. This would be an opportunity for you to play a role in the development of what may become this year's fifth women's team!

Please forward this information on to all your teammates to generate some interest. The session will be held on Sunday, June 8th, 2pm at Churchill Park ( across from Churchill Square on Elizabeth Avenue). This will give me an idea as to whether there is enough interest to have the practice.
